Capturing your orchard experience
Here’s a great excuse to gather together family (or friends!) and spend some quality time enjoying this beautiful season in West Michigan: this Saturday is our Free Family Photo Day out at the orchard. We hired the photographer; we’ll provide a beautiful scenic backdrop; all you have to do is smile! Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. our photographer will take your group’s pictures* and later post it to our Facebook page, where you can tag yourself and download your professional photo file free of charge. (*Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. One photo per group.) Your photo is yours to print, post or do with as you like. We love being a place where families and friends can make memories together, and we hope that by capturing the moment for you, it’ll be an even sweeter time. So come on out, we’ll take as many people as we can get in between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.!
We all have our favorites (ahem, looking at you, donuts!), but did you know that we carry so many more goodies in our market? Pickles, jams, soup mixes, salsas, local raw honey (delicious and made by our beekeeper, son-in-law Justin), and more… Saturdays are your chance to get a taste of some of the other items we carry so you can try (and then hopefully buy!) them. From 1-3 p.m., we’ll have our sample tent set up outside the market. Each Saturday we’ll be offering tastes of different goods from the market. We think you’ll love what we have (much of it we make ourselves, others are by amazing artisan vendors). Stop by on Saturday and discover some new favorites!
Weekends are for Corn Maze, Rides
Don’t forget, we run full force on weekends. Take a free trip around our place in our tractor-pulled wagon and enjoy the scenic views. Kids will love looping around the orchard on our cow train ride ($2/seat). Our farm animal barn and play area are open every day that we are, and are great places to play. And if you are up for a bit of a challenge, check out our corn maze, open Saturday and Sunday. This year’s space theme is a blast for all ages!
