Q: We would love to come out with a group, what options do you have?

A: Please see our Parties and Events page or Book Online to view our options and check availability.

 

Q: What activities are available on weekdays vs. weekends?

A: We offer many activities that are available to our our guests every day that we are open: These include our Market where we bake donuts fresh daily and offer many other treats and farm-themed items, as well as apples from our orchards, Children’s Play Area and Farm Animal Barn (think GOATS!), u-pick apples (varieties vary depending on what is available; u-pick sometimes ends before the end of our season in late October); pumpkin picking (available beginning in late September).

Our weekends only activities include the Tractor-Wagon Ride around the farm (free); Cow Train/Barrel Rides ($4/seat); Corn Maze + Back 40 ($14/person); Apple Cannons (Back 40 entry + $5/bucket for apple ammo).

 

Q: If we are doing a barn rental, can we bring outside food and beverages?

A: Yes, we do allow you to bring in outside food and beverages. We also offer our own donuts, cider, wood-fired pizza, burgers, and Coca-Cola products on location. Please email us at family@schwalliers.com to discuss food options for your rental.

 

Q: If we rent the barn, can we bring decorations?

A: Yes, you may bring decorations. We ask that you do not bring paint, glitter, or anything that would require extensive clean-up from our crew after the event.

 

Q: Is the barn heated on cold days?

A: No, the barn is not heated, but offers good shelter for colder days.

 

Q: What is included in the barn rental?

A: Barn Rental includes use of the barn space for 2.5 hours (including tables set up indoors) and access to our event coordinator who can help make sure your event runs smoothly. Barn rental does not include any additional activities, food items, etc. We can help keep a running tab if you would like to provide any of these for your guests.

 

Q: We just rented the barn; are there any activities that are free/included? What activities do we pay for?

A: All guests to our farm can enjoy the Children’s Play Area, Farm Animal Barn, small Straw Mountain, and (weekends only) Tractor-Wagon ride free of charge. Additional activities (U-pick apples, pumpkin picking, Corn Maze + Back 40 (weekends only), Cow Train/Barrel rides (weekends only) are available to enjoy at normal pricing.

 

Q: We just booked a Group Bonfire, can we also do the apple cannons?

A: For an additional charge, we can arrange to have the apple cannons running and available during your group bonfire. Please contact us at family@schwalliers.com to have this added to your booking.

 

Q: What is the Back 40 and what activities are there?

A: The Back 40 is our large play area located on the back end of our property, beyond the u-pick apple orchards. It includes our Corn Maze, as well as a variety of fun activities for “kids” of all ages. These include our giant Combine Slide, Rock Labyrinth, Bouncy Track, Pedal Carts, large Straw Mountain, Mega Tube Slide, Bouncing Pads/Pillows, and Apple Cannons (ammo sold separately). Entry to the Back 40 is $14/person and includes unlimited time to enjoy all of the above activities. (Last tickets are sold an hour before closing. The Corn Maze + Back 40 is available weekends only in September and October.)

 

Q: Do you offer group discounts or packages?

A: Because we offer access to our farm and so many activities for free, we do not offer discounts on the paid activities.
