Come experience life and leisure at our farm. We offer U-pick apples and pumpkins, a giant corn maze, a play area and rides, and a farm animal barn. We also offer customized school group tours and parties, so think of us as you plan your next birthday party, school field trip, company outing, or family get-together. Plan Your Visit

At Schwallier’s Country Basket, we are all about providing a place for families and friends to make memories together. We offer many no- and low-cost attractions that are included as part of the experience of visiting our farm.
 

Children’s Play Area, Farm Animal Barn

 

There is no entrance fee to our farm. The main part of our farm includes free children’s play attractions, like the barn slide, swing set, ducky races, small straw mountain and shelled corn “sand” box. Our goat petting area is also free, with an option to purchase small cups of goat feed as a treat for these always-hungry critters!

 

Tractor Wagon and Cow Train / Barrel Rides

 

On fall weekends in September and October, we also run a free tractor wagon ride to take our guests around our
orchard to pick apples or just to enjoy the scenic views.

 

Kids of all ages (and those young at heart!) love taking a spin on one of our cow train/barrel cart rides that we also run on weekends ($4/seat).

 

Back Forty + Corn Maze

 

For an added experience, we have created a jumbo-sized
play area surrounding our big corn maze. Entry to this area, called the Back Forty, is $14/person and includes the corn maze (which also features a shorter “kids loop” for little ones that might need a condensed corn maze experience), as well as unlimited play on our Farm Combine Slide (Play Structure), Pedal Carts, a Rock Labryinth, Large Straw Mountain, Bouncy Jumping Pads and Giant Tubing Slide.

 

The Back Forty is also where our super fun Apple Cannons are located (ammo is an additional $5/bucket).

Beyond that, you simply pay for what you purchase…
apples, pumpkins, donuts, cider, delicious lunch from our café, and amazing treats or cute décor from our market. We strive to provide excellent quality and value in all that we do, so that you can relax and focus on making those memories with your loved ones!
